Your such a strong women. And Samuel is a very strong little boy. I haven't experienced what you have, but i know the feeling of that overwhelming fear of the unknown, and the known. The want for your child to just get up out of bed, and walk and talk. Im so sorry for the pain that your whole family and Samuel have gone through. Im glad you were able to make some very special friends while in the hospital. Your family is in my prayers! Much Love XOXXO

Yes it was a horrid, life changing experience. It is now my everyday normal. Its amazing how you can adapt as humans to your environment and the situation you have been forced to live.

Im glad your Grandson is fighting on. It is very hard for a Grandparent to see their Grandchild suffer. My Mother has had a hard time of it also.

Thanks for following my Blog Debbie.

What a horrid experience for your family, hospitals can be so intimidating expecially when you don't know where you are going or why or what's around the next corner. You become so protective of your little one when they are sick.
My first grandson was born with "Optiz Syndrome". He spent a lot of time in intensive care and the image of all the other sick babies is stamped into my memory. It was soooo sad.
One afternoon we received word that he had stopped breathing. I still don't remember how we got to the hospital so fast or even if we did so safely. All I remember engraved into my mind was the Dr's whisking him away to an advacent room where there efforts to save his life were heard by all the family. It was the most horrific time in my life as we all huddled together feeling sooooo helpless.
Miracles do happen, he made it. He is now 15yrs old. He has many challenges and is learning how to fit into life as we know it.
So, I know just a little of what you must have gone though.
Thank you for your inspiration.
